I am testing Joomla...seems pretty good for us, as it'll give a more professional aspect to the site. It'll eat up my db, but it's not a problem I'm going to try my hand at editing the template and see if I can come up with something interesting hmm, at joomla's forums (link at their website) you can find links for websites with templates for joomla... if you need something nice for the top of the website just call me with some nice pictures of our cars and i'll see what i can do

Ok, so here's a link to my test webste: www.reality-overdrive.x-br.com/joomla/It's pretty basic right now. I got a simple template from the internet that suit a sort of racing type of website. The header is completely hideous right now, but I just wanted to get rid of the one that comes with the template. I think with this we'll be able to have team specific pages that are controlled by team managers, which is quite interesting I'll crate an account for you guys to login and make a team page later on

it actually looks really good as it is! its simple, yet effective.....i think the idea of putting the number 1 car in the header works extremely well! perhaps you could create a calendar of race events and test sessions? overall very very good work! __________________ back to my driving role now, are you going to do the two audi pages?

I dunno mate. The way I'm thinking of setting it up, managers can do whatever they want with the team page, so if you want to you can do the Vodafone Team page.

LOL, ok I'm starting to populate the site a bit...I'm thinking I'll be replacing the websites soon...working with Joomla is a lot better then with the other site. No offence to Saturday of course, but it's just that changing stuff online is much easier

It would work better than the actual one EDIT: OOPS, now I've noticed that you changed it... keep this new one, its better and easy to read

Yeah, I'm still getting used to the way it works, and I have to write all that info by hand for now, so it'll go slow. The Standins, Drivers and Constructors pages are all done. I need to start doing the GP ones now but I'm trying to figure a good way to do it.
I'll be testing team pages soon too...

I changed the sub-domain to the new site. So wsrc.reality-overdrive.x-br.com and www.wsrc.cjb.net will point to the new website. I just found out there are a few issues with the old one, so I decided to update a bit earlier. I'm going to try and have most of the 2006 content up by the end of the day.

Ok, allowing team managers to make their own pages won't be easy to do. Apparentely I can't let a user be able to change a content without giving him access to the other team pages as well and the news. So I'm still thinking about it. In any case, things are already much better. I'm going to build a template for the team pages and for the GP pages and then I'll start adding those later.
