Here is the initial 2006 WSRC race schedule:
The season has been shortened a couple of weeks by pulling some of the races closer together. Rather then ending almost mid November, it ends late October. There are two big breaks. The first is between Monaco and Canada, and the second is between Hungary and Italy. If you have any thoughts on this calendar schedule please let me know. Note that the dates are notating the start of the race weekend, not the race itself. I think that next season we will call the weather for Sunday's rather then Saturday's and we will use this years, city data to forcast the weather for those races.
Malaysia 02-18-06 Brazil 03-04-06 Austria 03-18-06 San Marino 03-31-06 Spain 04-14-06 Monaco 04-28-06 Canada 05-29-06 United States 06-09-06 France 06-23-06 Britain 07-07-06 Germany 07-21-06 Hungary 08-04-06 Italy 09-01-06 Europe 09-15-06 Belgium 09-29-06 Japan 10-13-06 Australia 10-27-06

Hmmmm...how about adding a couple of races? Push Australia 2 weeks, and we can put China after Japan. We can also put Turkey after Germany. I'm guessing that by then, those two tracks will be avaible and without any bugs. But I've succefully tested an earlier version of China. I'm yet to download the latest...not a really good track though If someone does it, I'd rather put Barhain after Malaysia

This would shorten the breaks a little.

i'd prefer to see melbourne as the season opener i think.
turkey would be a great inclusion, as far as im aware, the circuit is just about finished and looks great. china was...ok, but i havent downloaded the latest version yet either.
what about france? if i remember correctly, the latest layout is near perfect, so could be a worthy replacement for the old track...

Well, track updates are a lot easier to include. We just gotta make sure everybody agrees on it and then everyone has to install them. Extra tracks will be a bit trickier, as I'll have to make a bit of workaround in CSM to replace tracks and everything. Unless by then, Tony releases his 19 track method he is talking about so much. Personally I'd like to see Turkey and Bahrain included, even though Austria is similar to Barhain in some aspects. I don't wanna se Austria go either.

I don't have any issue with using different tracks. I do want to make sure that, if we decide to do 19 races, that everyone agrees with it. If it's complicated, it could detur some people. We could make Australia the home opener! There is a 19 track method being worked on? Cool! Where did you guys find the Turkey and China tracks?

China, Magny Cours an Hockenheim (new layout) is avaible at Gp4 italia. Turkey in in progress by a couple of dudes, and you can see it at granprixgames.org not avaible yet, as they are having a few problems with crashing (not the car, the game Althoug it's out, I'd rather keep the original hockenheim config instead of the new one btw. We can put australia as the opener and end the season with Brazil, how about that?

Do you liek where Turkey and Chinal are? I also had to change the dates a bit since I made a mistake and was looking at 2007 dates rather then 2006 dates. Australia 02-18-06 Malaysia 03-04-06 Austria 03-18-06 San Marino 04-01-06 Spain 04-15-06 Monaco 04-29-06 Turkey 5-13-06 Canada 05-27-06 United States 06-10-06 France 06-24-06 Britain 07-08-06 Germany 07-22-06 Hungary 08-05-06 China 8-26-06 Italy 09-02-06 Europe 09-16-06 Belgium 09-30-06 Japan 10-14-06 Brazil 10-28-06

Yeah, I'm there as Joe Satriani too, but I don't really post much. Just when I find something really interesting. I like the old hockenheim better, yeah. The new one looks really wierd to me. But I'll go with the flow of course, if you guys really do feel like using the new one...but I hope not Saturday: Hmmmmm...switch China with Belgium, then switch belgium with europe. then switch italy with europe, so that it looks like this: Hungary 08-05-06 (Same spot) Italy 8-26-06 Europe 09-02-06 Belgium 09-16-06 China 09-30-06 Japan 10-14-06 Brazil 10-28-06 Just so that technically, we wouldn't have to travel from europe to china and back to europe again I think turkey is in a good spot

I'll make the changes. I'm a little hopped up on caffine today so I'm not thinking completely straight. I'm doing some bug testing on a new release of one of our products.
