Ok, it's quite early at the moment, but no harm in starting a thread to see the thoughts of everyone on how the series should progress next year. So, post here your thoughts, ideas, things you wish to see improved and any other comments you might have. It's good also, cause I'll have plenty of time to try any suggestions and see if it's possible. So fire away

Last one, no, it's a bit more free and easy this way, and I like it What's wrong with the GP4 tracks? If you want to have a random crash then sure, get some updates. Some of the updated tracks are boring though, when Imola is released, I won't touch it with a barge pole, they've massacred that middle chicane in particular. Maybe some random off season races with other carsets? For example, DTM is moving along quite nicely, there's the ITC mod, maybe the V8 supercars will be ready next year, but not as a complete carset, and PGT by the italian boys. Only if you can be bothered, I don't expect you all to agree though

Answering a few of the suggestions so far:
Updated tracks instead of Original ones - Nope, absolutely not. None of the tracks updated so far, were up to par with the original. The best one was Europe, and there was a huge bump at the end of the main straight that I always spin out there.
New tracks: For this one, I have hope actually. Although, there was only one track so far that I found good enough and that was the Clipsal 500 (Adelaide V8). The track has tons of graphical bugs, but the track seems to be done well enough. Might need a better CC-Line, but that's about it. Sufer's Paradise also seems to be on the same level of quality, but I don't really like the circuit.
The Bahrain track, while seems to be going on the right direction, atm there's a bug with the pitstop, although I didn't test it yet. Still, some elevations are wrong, but it might be workable. Needs some better banking too...
Turkey is not going to happen anytime soon. While I appreciate the effort on it so far, the beta wasn't very good. I'm actually thinking it has a serious lack of banking which makes it wierd to drive.
China, while being the best of the bunch, has zero elevations/banking, which makes the track even more boring then it is in real life. I personally don't to see it on our calendar.
Finally, the other tracks that I tested were either lacking banking/elevations or weren't very good to begin with.

Off-Season races: Sounds interesting. How would you guys feel on doing an endurance type of race? 100 laps at some circuit...have no idea wich one though. Silverstone?

Yeah, an endurance would be good, perhaps with some tin tops. 100 laps is maybe a bit much, but no reason why we couldn't do a 100% grand prix distance (preferably at Melbourne) with no saving allowed.
There are two versions of Adelaide currently, one is a conversion from a Toca game and is very good, the other is a built from ground up version, which is coming along very nicely. The CC-line is just about there, even if the graphics are still WIP.

"Turkey is not going to happen anytime soon. While I appreciate the effort on it so far, the beta wasn't very good. Release ought to be before the Autumn if everything goes well As for the off season endurance run, sounds awesome to me. There are any number of tracks to be picked for this in all honesty. I'm game for anything up to 90 laps at any circuit, preferably not one of the longish ones though, that'll hurt. Lots

Nah, montreal can get very frustrating...for starters, it must be something with large escape areas, otherwise you'll find yourself crashing a lot. I vote for Sepang, but I don't you guys will like it much

If after its released, it's actually playable, I'm sure we can look into having it added to the calendar for next year. We can just set something like 140% race, and go from there
