100 laps of HOCKENHEIM!!! ;D
(joking)
Monaco would be good, I like that circuit. Perhaps we should take it to a vote later on.

Yikes...I cringe at doing more then 100 laps at Monaco...on my best 79 lap run there I crashed 3 times I would love to make 100 laps at Hockenheim...it's one of my favorite tracks

Indy 100 times through the Mickey Mouse corners

Indy 100 times through the Mickey Mouse corners Oh no, endurance races... it requires a lot of free time to do... My best vote is to make it optional for the drivers... Create a competition like that "best endurance race driver of the season" for those who want to race in this style Another competition is good because Vincenzi will dominate the whole regular WSRC season

I'm not sure if I shall continue next year...still thinking. In any events, what about 500 miles of Hockenheim? 117 laps on the circuit I'm sure though that we can all find time to make one endurance race at the end of the year. It's not that critical...give everyone 2 or 3 weeks time to submit and it should work.

Just to bring things back on track a bit, what about the other thing we were talking about? The engines and tyres? What are your suggestions on that?
Changing from V10s to V8s would mean switching at least the physics file plus maybe the torque curve. I would rather keep the V10s and do something else to change things a bit. Maybe introduce slick tyres?

I wouldn't worry so much about the Torque curve. Changing that will cause a multitude of problems elsewhere.
For starters, new physics files and RPM values. This will lead to the need for new magic datas with updated track grips and fuel consumption. The cons outweigh the pro's imo.
With slicks we could keep the original .dats. I think I mentioned before that I had a set of slick physics sitting around somewhere? They still need a little bit of work, but they are coming along very nicely indeed otherwise.
Actually, for engines, we could get away with just a different power output. IIRC, the default one is a but nuts, gives loads of power in the first 6,000 RPM, then drops off, then gives loads of power again. Maybe this could be changed, made a little flatter (more V8-ish, but with the same power as a V10). That would definitely make the cars a handful coming out of the corners with the huge amount of power they could give in the low to mid range.

What about GP2 Series Carshape for everyone? I know that there are some ppl that prefer to use their own shape (sure, i'm one of them, a Honda RA106/BAR007 fan) but I couldnt resist to this idea of painting a RaltWest GP2 livery Another ideas could be Senna's 93 McLaren shape (Oggo is going to release a template as soon as possible after he releases that car) and 95 (or 96?) Benetton shapes... If we are going to bring back the slicks then we could bring back other old things from the golden F1 years
