I voted for V10 same as this year. While I wouldn't mind the 1000BHP, that would make the cars ridicularly fast and drop laptimes a lot...we could perhaps revert the dat files to original gp4 ones...that would balance things out a bit. Just an idea...

Well I voted for V10 just to stick how things are now... but to be honest, I dont know well the differences between V8, V10 and V12... otherwise I'd have voted with more conscience As long as we have engines with a performance similar to the early 90's I dont care if they are v10, v12 or v8 Shame the 86's turbo engines are impossible to recreate in GP4... those were the days of golden F1 era, I loved F1 from 86-1993 Edit: Oh well, I've been reading again the thread about 2007 regulations and Zep's strong points on V12 engines looked to be interesting... bring on V12 or V10, and slicks, I don't care, V8 sucks

This year's V10. If you get used to it, then there is a massive increase in bhp, you'd spend way too much time learning the tracks again (like Rosberg at Bahrain)

I think that we are having a problem related to the engine bhps and physics here in this year.
Since we are using Nicola Acciarri's 2004 physics that reproduces the V10 behavior, I never had a problem to keep the car on track in a straight line until we raced in Hockenheim, it happened right after the third test session. What happens is that the current physics file is more suited to keyboard players, and when I am in a long straight, if I make a minor movement that shouldnt affect the curse of the car, it will move right or left, forcing me to spin out.
To solve it, I had to increase my SH percentage, which was 100% at Monza because it was a wet race. But I couldnt be competitive as the others.
Since we will use V12 physics/bhp values next year, I think that we should keep an eye here to avoid this kind of problem (Nickv also had the same problem at Monza). Maybe we should ask upwards or Acciarri for feedback about this?

I should mention though, I think the problem was mainly because of my sucky steering wheel

Now that we have a deal with Logitech for 2007 season, it wont happen again (I hope so)
