Holden Motorsport today have announced a title sponsorship deal with drinks giant Diageo. While no specific details have yet been released, it is widely thought that the Smirnoff logo's will be prominent on the cars for the 2006 season. This would be due to the fact that Diageo already have their Johnnie Walker brand on the Arrows cars and the Smirnoff logo would be a likely fit for the Holden design scheme.
A Holden team spokesperson said "this is an exciting deal we've signed, we're always looking for new sponsorship and its fantastic that Diageo have decided to lead our sponsorship roster. We're looking to portray a young and invigorating image, as well as to promote safer drinking habits and Diageo will help us achieve this ".
The announcement comes as Mobil have stated they're cutting back on their involvement with the Holden squad, although the fuel giant will stay on as official supplier. The team is likely to be known as Smirnoff-Ice Holden Motorsport.

Nice, nice Nose area looks kinda empty, but I'm guessing you are still going to add stuff to it

Excellent livery. Normally the whole fire thing doesnt work or is over done, but it is done really tastefully here and the red is excellent. Really nice how its carried throughout the car. Maybe a sponsor on the side of the nose cone would be good, but not too much as it looks great as it is.

Excellent hob! As Viper, said, the nose looks a tad bit empty but you are probably working on that!

BTW, the fire pattern doesn't match in the nose...

thanks, im aware of that viper...and theres also a reason why it was taken fom that angle..the other side is a mess as for the nose...im no artist, but i feel that if i was to add many more logo's to it, it might clutter the overall effect. dont want it looking like an indy car after all...they're a mess. logo's need space to breathe, and i think also the red and black needs its defning space as well. i might try something later. that and the fact that on the top of the nose, theres no room! d**n renault and their skinny noses! at least i know its a championship winning car...so no excuses lol.

It's your call really! I know that our Team Porsche P05 wasn't the most logo intensive car on the grid!

It's nice to still have a fiery car on the grid... the livery I painted for the A26 is very soft and eye-friendly.

An option is to add that Holden logo on the side of the nose. It would become part of the fire pattern and would look really cool
