Well, taking the oppurtunity, I know I've been a bit lacking regarding the website, but I've been having little time for it. It should be up to speed again in the near future, once the semester is over. After that, I'll try and put everything up to date again. Anyway, interesting site with the rating. Not entirely usefull in our case, but might be usefull in other projects

What the hell's that? How the hell does a site cater for disabled users? Got no arms? You'll find even switching on a PC more than trying... Viper, perhaps we should consider a rampway on the doorstep

"Set your hearing aid to T and..." To be honest, I thought it wouldnt be important to say here, but I must confess: I'm deaf

We are not making fun of deaf people. We are making fun of that sitescore thingy that said our website is in violation of the British Disability Discrimination Act. I don't even know how they can assert that Also, something tells me your not really deaf ;D You can correct me if I'm wrong of course, and I apologize in advance.

But you're still able to use the website and associated media with no problems whatsoever. I'm well aware that for people who do suffer hearing loss, websites may have to make concessions in order to cater for those people, but we don't rely on sound here so I wouldn't consider a deaf person here to be challenged.
This is not a discussion that I wish to pursue in the interests of maintaining the community spirit here. I'm sorry you took offence to the comments made, believe me no-one here meant to insult you or any other person here. Our comments were directed at sitescore.

I didnt took it as an offence, it happened mainly because I havent told here that I am really deaf I can hear what people say to me at some level, and regarding the music, I can hear the sound, but to understand the lyrics I have video clips of these songs with subtitles

What made me doubt, was obviously the multiple references to music on your profile over at Orkut. Now that you've explained, it's all clear. Still, you gotta see the humor on that site's statement

Still, you gotta see the humor on that site's statement Oh, yeah I got it The university website I work for has received some complaints like that, in particular from blind users who use DOSVOX to read the text lines in our website, which is strange because after 4 years studying here, I never saw any blind student in our university...
