Great job for the podium finishers, I thought I was well of the pace when sending in my laps as I only could do my ten-lap-race in 1 time with little practise (not even 20 laps ) and drove off my frontwing in the last corner of the pinultimate lap and there was no way I could go into the pits and repair it.. But still had a nice lap which was quite scary sliding into corners and braking hard.. Great fun. Hope to have more practise for the next race, by the way: King great drive mate sorry to have let you go at the end. Would have been a great batlle for the 4th place. ;D Well hope to see you in Europe again less travel for me and I can take the motorhome from Ferrari to the track and show off a bit or two

Yeah, that's the only wrong thing there Thanks for the congrats Saturdaynight...it was a long week for this win yeah Sorry about that guys. I was a bit tired last night. It was a long weekend. I got the clutch replaced in my Wrangler on Saturday and Sunday, my wife and I, spent the entire day running around doing errands and then coming home to cleaning the house. With such a busy weekend I can't beleive I got all of the WSRC stuff done.

When I calculating the times I was a bit scared there for a momentum when your times started getting better then mine and then Glanville's last minute submition took my third place finish away from me.

I won't have time to work on the WSRC website today as I've got a busy day here at work. I'll update that site in the next day or so. As for the media questions, I'll have them up shortly.

I'm just happy with a points finish again, I was really afraid with my last 2 laps that I would fail to reach the top 8, but fortunatly I made it..

WSRC 2005 Austrian GP post race press conference.
Welcome gentlment! Another fabulous race put on today. Vincenzi, congratulations to your second victcory of the season. You lead from start to finish, after passing Rocha at the start of the race. How does it feel to have such a decicive victory?
Rocha, You put in a great performance as well, and only fell short by a few seconds, in the end. Are you satisfied with second place?
Glanville, coming from the back of the pack, at the start of the race, you passed Dalby, Bolman and then King, to settle into third place! Take us through that opening moment?
Vincenzi, You obviously never let up and held off Rocha throughout the race! What strategy did you use to win the race?
Rocha, on lap four you had a minor mishap hat dropped you four seconds behind the leader! Explain to us what happened there?
Glanville, your main adversary for the race was King, but you held him off pretty handily and started to really pull away in the closing stages. What was going through your mind durring the race?
Rocha, ultimately you finished in second. What can Team Arrow's do to get another win and even things up with Vincenzi?
Vincenzi, final question! With the lead in the drivers championship and two wins under your belt, how do you feel about Team Audi, in the WSRC competition?

It's going to be interesting to see how things pan out this year. At the moment, Arrow's has the contructors lead by a handy margin. But with Roch'a retirement, Glanville has the team resting on his shoulders. The only team that didn't compete this weekend was Team Clownpaint! Hope to see them return for the next race. My teammate, Finlay, hasn't been around! I'm not sure what's up with that? Byrne hasn't been heard from since the last race either. I think for some of us, this season will be about personal gain rather then trying to win a championship! I know that's the way things look for me.

Hmm, an interesting race, everyone seemed to be very close on their laps, apart from me... I really don't like Austria and hadn't really tried tinkering with my setup to push anymore out of the car. I am pretty sure I could have squeezed a high 1.09 for qualifying, but no way I could have been consistently in the 1.10's for my race laps - plus two spins didn't do me any favours! Really felt I had a lot of oversteer, but I don't want to find to many excuses - every driver has their lesser favourite tracks, and this is one of them. Imola is one of my faves, though with my engine seeming a little weak, I really don't know how competitive I can be. But I look forward to trying my best to get as high as I can

It feels great! Specially, since Austria is a very mixed circuit that needs attention in quite a feel parts to not make any mistakes. I'm also happy with the reliability of the car so far although we had some problems with tire wear towards the end of the race that slowed us down. I had to adjust the brakes during the race wich makes it a little worrying, but we are working on it already.
Well, in the begining was the hardest part actually. Rocha was still pretty close to me so I needed to defend my position in the early stages if I wanted to win. I just made sure to block him in the corners and speed up the most on straights. Once the gap went up I was able to keep the pace and go trough the finish line, with the exception of the problems I mentioned.
Team Audi arrived for the first race in a hard moment when we lost our second driver. That motivated the team to work extra hard so we could get good results. The team has been great with me so far and working together so we can get the best ride possible. I hope we can keep this up, and win more races in the future!

A bit hard not finishing the top 8 with only 6 people playing ;D I now know, but I didn't have any clue so few people where going to join in this race. Now my points finish doesn't really look that good as being the first to last But I'm still tied fourth in the championship, happy with that one for sure.
