1st Practice Session Rules
During the period that ranges from 3rd of April do the 20th of April all teams will be allowed to submit practice files to increase the teams overall BHP. Each team is allowed to do a maximum of 40 laps, but it's not necessary to submit all 40. Just do as much as you want to. The BHP increase will be calculated using the following formula:
1 Lap = 0.25 BHP
So, if you are able to make the 40 laps you get a 10 BHP increase on the engine for the next round of GPs.
The file that you are going to submit is the save game of a pratice session. It works very much like what we do with the race except we'll be using Free Practice mode. Get in, do as much laps as you can, save the game and submit the file. We are allowing multiple files to be submited, so you don't have to worry about doing everything in one go, or reloading your file each time.
One driver or both drivers of the team can do laps. If you have a third driver he can be used as well.
The data that we'll be checking is:
Date of creation (File date must be in the range specified) Driver name Team name BHP Amount Number of laps
It's important to note though that we can only verify full laps, so in and out laps are not counted. However, it doesn't matter if you spin. Crashing is not considered as a full lap either.
Test sessions for this event can be held at whatever track you want. I'm sure some will want to test at Barcelona though since it's the next event. Multiple tracks are allowed for this event. Also, weather is at your discretion.
Well, I think that's about it. If you have any questions, just shoot. Submission to be made to the normal address.
Edit: Added another verified data

Of course I'll be at Barca, it's my favourite track, set a low 14 just 3 hours ago

I added another rule there. All files must be created in the date ranged specfied. So if anyone happens to have files from before the date or after, it won't be considered.
I myself will probably do part in Suzuka and other part in Barcelona. I'm not a good driver at Barcelona and will probably be looking in learning the track better.

I thought the same for both raltwest drivers, i think i'll go for some laps at Barcelona and some other laps in another track, maybe Silverstone, who knows If we are going to receive a new carset with updated performances then maybe this is a good opportunity for me to send the new car that i'm currently developing and painting, the new screenies are available at gp4carpainting forums

Well the ZMD-F1 will be ready really soon for use in 3 different series, and being a lazy bugger, I'll probably use the same paintjob for all of them and just change the sponsors

All teams are welcome to submit any changes to liveries, helmets, pitcrews or whatever. I'll be launching V1.0 before the Spanish GP.

Ah yes, once the period is over and files submitted, I'll do a write up on what each team did and how many BHP they got.

WIll teams with only 1 driver like me be at a disadvantage? Or does the BHP count for individual drivers as apposed to teams? Does it matter if we do over 40 laps, but then you only count the 40?
But yeah sounds like a good idea ill be doing some testing prolly at Barcelona and maybe another track.

No. One driver teams can do the 40 laps and get the same 10 BHP. Doesn't get more complicated then that. And yeah, if you do more then 40 laps we are still only counting 40.

it just means that if you have a two car team then you can share the load, ie both drivers doing 20 laps each or something.
