If either track is working well, maybe...but honestly, I don't wanna see Shanghai on the calendar either...another very boring track...

Other options could be... well... the turkish layout has been released yet? I saw some guys making Jerez and Paul Ricard circuits too... I know its a bit off topic but I have to say that I miss some of 80's/90's circuits I used to play in GP1/GP2/GP3... Phoenix, Mexico, Detroit, Brands Hatch and Donnington Park, I would be happy if I had a chance to drive them in GP4

We'll see what'll do about tracks next year. For now, let's stick to what we have

Jerez might be done during the summer, iirc, laguna who's doing the 3d stuff has finished his exams so that should be going ahead in the next few weeks Paul Ricard i wouldn't get your hopes up for, gildoorf also has Dubai and I think he had something else in mind too last time I spoke to him. Plus he is the worst perfectionist ever, if it's not perfect, it aint released Shanghai sucks, Istanbul is pretty good, but still a bit buggy, I think your best chance at that is Ruboy's mid / hi-res update, he's done a few things to the .dat too. Bahrain I'm not too sure about, as far as I know, it goes in fits and starts, sometimes moving along and it was stationary for at least 3 months before the beta2 was released That's all I know, anyway -edit- 215mph down the straight, erm, about 340kph if my math doesn't suck

Well, i will have to lift my game a little to try and get somewhat competitive. I think my may problem was not enough downforce and the car generally sucking in the inside corners. So when the new carset finally finishes d/loading ill test it in CSM 1.26, if the problem with the lag still happens, will have to go back to the older version. Anyway, i was hitting 359k/hr down the straight. But ive put more wing on now so ill see what i get when i get around to testing it.

After changing my setup philosophy a little bit, I'm now hitting the 248Kph mark and got a couple of tenths faster...still not happy though...

FIRST IMPRESSIONS Okay, did a few runs to avoid wasting another night in a extensive series of hotlaps (remember that I had to do more than 100 laps to achieve my best lap in the previous races?) because it wasnt helping me for the quickrace session... anywayz, I had a go at carsetup, now hitting 359 kph and in the mid 1:08:xxx... THE HOTLAP Just did some installation laps and got that time The circuit is very difficult, and I had problems finding the braking points... Now I know where they are... the problem is to brake in the right time and in the right place, but I can sort it out with practice THE STEERING WHEEL I also had a go at my steering wheel setup in game options, now the car driveability looks smoother than before, It responds when I want to and I could drive it without any effort like in previous races, when I had to overdrive it to follow Vincenzi and Tom... now I can drive just like Jenson Button ;D ABOUT THE CIRCUIT Well, from what I've seen here, Indianapolis is some sort of "hit throttle-smash brake-hit throttle" style circuit, what doesn't suits my driving style... Circuits like Canada and Imola are the ones that suit my driving style perfectly... You have to be very concentrated at the end of the long straight, because If you lose the exact braking point, You'll run wide in 99% of your attempts... That's why I was faster in the first sector, but slower in the second sector due to the difficult "mickey mouse" Indy layout... its a boring circuit but actually, making my driving style to suit this circuit is an interesting challenge for me THE RACE But given the circuit characteristics, the new drivers and my performance here, I think I'm not in contention for a win here (HAHAHA!) so a third place finish is my main goal here... Well we have to race and see

Although it is quite boring, this type of cornering actually suits me much better then montreal.

Mickey Mouse corners are a pet hate. I just hate the general layout of Indy, mainly because of the boring hairpin bits that are totally stupid. The only good thing is the last corner banking and bricks for the startline. Oh well I hope to do well
