I have no idea TBH I did an installation lap today to start preparations on the setup, but I got out, and got in the pitstops again without starting a timed lap

Touching the 10s, got a 10.95, but I can blatantly get more out of this setup, the back is like a fish out of water

im about to post my qualifying time and race result as im off to classic le mans at the weekend. fastest lap time in race was a 1:10.686 i think which was quicker then my qualfying time. quite pleased with the result although i spun on the last lap at the last chicane pushin too hard to beat my fastest lap.

Its so hard to try and pursue that last 0.1 of a second, but so easy to lose 10 seconds in the attempt.

Yeah, the first sector is easy enough, but after that hairpin, if you dont brake at the exact perfect moment, you lose buckets of time, same if you dont take the next chicane properly, and the last chicane and lycee.
Apart from that it's an easy lap. I'm consistent as hell in the first sector, no idea how or why

Couldn't be the fact that the first sector consists of a wide sweeping corner and a longish straight could it?

Wide sweeping corner that if you brake just a little bit too late you run into the gravel trap, too early and you're leaning on the throttle waiting to put your foot down

Actually, that corner is a pain in the ass tbh. I see what you mean about finding a good braking point, it's such a long corner that you just trail the throttle for ages and ages wondering where the hell the exit kerb is. It feels so slow.
The corners that give me trouble are those quick chicanes after the hairpins, especially the chicane after Adelaide, my chances of making it through that corner without being dumped into the gravel must be around the 30% mark lol. I find that if I make the corner with no drama whatsoever, I'm down 0.5 of a second...but I'm inside the 1:10's..I wouldn't say comfortably because I m pretty inconsistent so far, but I'll get there.
What top speeds are we hitting at the end of the straight before Adelaide?
I think mine's around the 320kph mark...

I'm in the high 10's atm, dunno how much room for improvement there is.
I think on a bogey lap I might be able to get a 9, but hell, that would have to be one special lap...
And just under 200mph atm, although i may put some more wing on, so that will change a bit

I think I have to try my best in the first sector in order to compensate the worse things in the second sector... Oh well, the way the things are going here, no podium finish for me this weekend, i'll race for points then

ok, I've just improved my qualifying time. Into the 9's now.
The race has been completed as well. Almost blew it in the pits though, once again I had some trouble as the car tried to spin not once, but twice...probably cost me a valuable second or two which is disappointing considering my race pace wasn't too bad.

Yeah I almost had a spin in the pits, it's pretty stupid how much you get slowed down by tbh, starting to annoy me quite a bit.
Apart from that, I'm done. Somehow managed to get a 9 in qualifying, but wasn't able to repeat it, apart from the lap before...
