Well having just driven it a 40-42 is out of the question, I think a 43 is do-able but it would be a bloody good lap with an awesome setup.
I'd say the benchmark is a 1:46.0

Yeah, it's very difficult to get right. Especially the last two corners. They're bad enough in the dry, but in the wet they're a nightmare. Mess up the entrance and you'll either be too slow or drift wide from where there's no chance of recovery.
I think a good lap is anywhere between a low 1:47 and mid 1:44.

Well I'm happily sitting 45's atm, I only get a 46 if I lose it in the 3rd chicane or breaking for the corner after that, I'm alright mostly in the last two, the track width changes hugely and if you even look at the tiny outside kerb wrong before it widens, you're in the wall

I can quite drive through the stadium section without any major problems but I need to find the right setup. My work to find my racing line is done, but the car's control is still slipping through my hands suddenly at times. The car is a bit nervous unlike in previous races where I preferred a stability-based setup which gave me many second places, but this time I want to change the things in the championship so I kept the aggressive setup and decided to deal with the stability fighthing with the steering wheel to keep the car on track, a price I have to pay for a quicker car. Basically I am taking some risks because I have nothing to lose, so RaltWest is going all out attack

45 laps in a 100% race, 15% of 45 is actually (near enough) 7, so my math sucks

Well, the 2000 record in wets is 44's, settled in race by Rubens Barrichello. I remember that race very well, Rubens did that when the track was dry, when the track was wet he was doing 2 minutes something, he did the last laps with slick tyres when it was raining and Mika Hakkinen came to pits and lost the race because he did a pit stop. I have the video of this race. jeje. Cheers

OK.
I'm very irritated with my steering wheel.
I did a lowish '45s knocking on the high 44's doors, but it was possible after a lot of fight with my stwheel, when I am going down the long straight after the pits, that damn shit car sits on the right side of the track, I try to correct it moving to the left side (where is the racing line) and then when I am correcting the car to follow that line, suddenly that shit moves back to right. It happens a lot of times until I spin, what pisses me off is that I changed the wheel calibration a lot of times and It didnt want to work. This shit simply does not want to be centered near zero.
So I decided to sell this shit and buy another stweel, but for Hockenheim race I might want to use keyboards. That damn stweel also caused some small injuries to my left wrist, because I spent too much time fighting with it to keep the car on track, thats why I want to sell it. Even with dry conditions it happens (remember Montreal GP, fighting to keep it at the back straight). I might want to buy a MOMO Racing Wheel...

You got a Thrustmaster didn't you? I told you you'd wasted your money but you didn't listen to me Seriously man, avoid thrustmaster like the plague, they are complete crap. Hell, I had rope inside my wheel for the steering mechanism for god's sake. Get a logitech. Any logitech, I have one of the cheapest ones available and I have had no trouble with it
