Well sent them one min before the deadline If I can pull out a point with those laps it would be a miracle. I lost 10 seconds with a f*cked up pitstop and another 25 due mistakes of my own. But, they are before the deadline

Bleh, didn't do much good myself. The rain really screwed up my driving in a couple of spots where I usually don't make errors at Monza. Still, with the small amount of time I had today to make laps, they are quite ok, for only a couple of tries in the race. The report will be out later tonight, as I have to go through all this data, heh...

Report
Today’s race was all about controversy, as new rules disqualified three drivers from the race, leaving the victory to two times world champion Diogo Vincenzi once more, After driving another comeback race from last to first. The weekend didn’t always belong to him though since during qualifying sessions newcomer Laurent Keersmaekers robbed Jorge Caranti of his third pole position in a row, with Bruno Castello sitting further back. Carr-Smith, Finlay, Van der Voort, Kittleson and Vincenzi completed the grid for the race, Vincenzi having trouble with Audi's new suspension and unable to set a time, as the team switched back to the old suspension.
At race start, Caranti and Keersmaekers went side-by-side into turn one and somehow, came out still side-by-side as they dashed ahead of the rest of the pack. By turn three however, Laurent had taken first place and was being closely followed by Caranti. Further back everyone was changing positions as the rain played the major role in this race. For the first time this year, Vincenzi had a good start going in the middle of the pack, and arrived at turn 1 following Matt Finlay who was 3rd now, after Castello had some wheel spin at the start.
The grid was packed with battles as the first lap progressed. Caranti was pressuring Laurent. Fighting for 3rd position, Vincenzi was pushing Finlay to the limit, while Carr-Smith put his car side-by-side with Bruno Castello towards the end of the lap. Van Der Voort and Kittleson were also having a skirmish of their own by the end of the lap. The grid remained pretty much the same until lap 3, when Dave entered Parabolica too hard and set a wheel in the grass, losing some precious time and actually found himself sitting dead last.
Things started to settle when the wave of pitstops started. Trying to recover from his error, Dave was first in on lap 4, while most of the other pitted on lap 5, except Kittleson who went in one lap later. Laurent had quicker teamwork and was able to come out with a bigger gap to Caranti. Meanwhile, Finlay who had lost position to Vincenzi before entering the pits, was able to come out ahead again. Castello who was having his own quiet race now kept his 5th place. Dave’s gamble ended up working though, as both Van der Voort and Kittleson came out of the pits slower than before, handing to Dave 6th.
The race ended with Laurent getting his first win, but results were revised after the weighting of the cars. Finlay, Laurent and Caranti’s cars all were underweight which disqualified them from the race and handed out victory to Vincenzi, with Castello and Carr-Smith completing the podium. A controversial weekend, that ultimately saw World Champion Diogo Vincenzi, winning his second Italian GP in his career and granting Audi Motorsports their 1st Constructor's Championship.
The next GP will be at Belgium on the legendery circuit of Spa-Francorchamps in 3 weeks time. Teams will be able to test prior to the next race.

==============================================
Official explanation on the Disqualifications:
As you guys can see in the results, I had to disqualify you three, not because of underweight cars, but actually because the checksums did not match up. That new carset in conjunction with the new gp4.exe were released so that we could be sure everyone was using the same files. The three of you did not match the checksum's, which leads to the conclusion you are not using the Carset, or it's not setup properly. The decision is final.
Press Conference to follow shortly.

Sorry Diogo for saying this why didnt you ask for my perf file? I only modified the perf file so cc-cars were to go slower. But i never touched the bhp values and i used the new gp4.exe. Very sad to see this.

Hmmm...I'm sorry Jorge, but I don't think it has to do with that. Matt Finlay and Laurent had wrong checksum's too for different reasons. I could not give them one penalty and not hand it to you at all. Besides, the checksum that looks after the Perf file wasn't the only wrong.

Well, the init checksum was different for all three drivers. You can ask Matt Finlay who is also admin, and he'll confim. All other drivers had the checksums exatcly the same. There isn't much more to explain TBH.

Sorry but i find it not aceptable because i used the track from the mod, gp4.exe and the perf file. Thats the only things that can alter the init and other checksums. If you like i can upload it to rapidshare and ill post in the forum so you see for yourself.
