I played the demo, but it didn't really apeal much to me, so I did not buy it. Maybe if a really good F1 mod comes out for it with good tracks I might think about it....

We'll see. Money is a problem as well like Matt said. Buying the game through the internet like that is more expensive then if I bought it in a store here in brazil, so...

Well i dunno if this would be of interest but i've seen rfactor files available for download @ emule... And i have played it before, i had a go in some sort of F1 Mod driving the Jenson Button's BAR Honda and the game graphics looked stunning to me. For me, rfactor can challenge GP4 with the right MODs. Btw i'm downloading @ emule a movie that stars michelle trachtenberg ;D

You can't play it online if you have a warez version. Still, the fact that the game is clearly made to play with a wheel is kinda of a downer cause I just don't see the point in buying an expensive thing that I'll only be using seldom.

anyone else bought this yet? I'm looking at getting it when I get my wheel so I can have a chance to race Tom, would be even better if others bought it aswell.
If your strapped for cash: Buy it through paypal, you don't pay tax!
From what Tom has told me the Meganes sound like a hell of a lot of fun!

Well if we are going to play in a non-official server that has a modified multiplayer.ini file changing the values for mismatch response to 0, which means that the user wont be booted out of the server if the versions dont match, we can play together but its just a theory

Just to remind you all (particularly diogo ) that CTDP have released their, quite frankly, stunning 2005 mod. Includes individual physics and sounds, and there are a couple of F1 tracks kicking around now too. Oh, and a 79mod demo is out as well awesome fun, if you've been waiting for F1 to hit rF, now's the time to get it For matt, theres a decent bathurst too
