So, I'm finally starting to think about buying a wheel for me. The quantity of games that would play better with one are starting to increase for me, so I think it's time to buy one. Ideally, I'd want to buy the MOMO Racing Wheel, but that's a bit too expensive for me. So remembering back from what Tom said a few months ago, I tried to take a look at the Logitech WingMan GP wheels, but they are basically non-existent here at Brazil. The only one I found is at an online store of doubtfull trust, heh.
So after looking at a few options, the one that stands out as being good, is the Logitech Nascar Racing Wheel. Anyone had any experience with it? Or has reason to believe it's crap?

Besides the huge price of the MOMO, it is not that reliable. Many people get pedal issues after some time.
I just bought myself a Trust 3100R and so far I am very happy with it. I cost me only 30 Euros.

Yeah, the momo wheels have some pedal issues after some time, but you can buy it, because the pedal issue is easy to solve. When it happens, all you need to do is to change one piece of the pedals... I've read in a brazilian racing forums something about it, many other guys had the same issue but some of them solved it easily.

I can't seem to find that trust 3100R, but it seems like a good wheel. My eyes are now focused on either the Nascar Racing Wheel, or the Formula GP Wheel. Problem is that I can't seem to find the latter on most of the known stores, so I might just get the Nascar one...I can always switch off the force feedback on it anyway.

True, but it's kinda expensive...320 reais. I saw it for 250 in another site, but then, dunno if they are reliable.

Just found it in another website for 180 reais, but they don't have it atm. But they have the Nascar one for 250, so I'll wait and see if they get the Formula GP on stock again.

I use a Logitech Wingman Force Feedback wheel. I think its the best product-price can buy. I had pedals problems about 9 months ago but i solved it very easy and from then on i never had any other trouble with the wheel. My wheel is 1year 4 months old. Cheers.

Good to hear a good review from such a good driver Although, I'm looking into getting the non-force feedback one...

from my limited experience if you are buying a wheel it would be worth getting force feedback

Yer, buy a wheel with FF, apart from the extra feel it gives you when you contact the grass (if you're really unobservant ), it (imo) gives you a greater awareness of what the car is doing. For example, if you're in a slide, you'll know it cos the wheel goes a bit limp, but if you the car is in perfect control, it's much tighter. rF (thought I'd bring it up lol) has a couple of FF problems, but not half as many as GP4. Mind you, since I've been using a wheel my times have decreased by some 3 seconds in a lot of cases

Problem with ForceFeedback is that there are very few options for me here. The only ones avaible are the MOMO Racing which is very expensive, and the same Thrustmaster that Bruno uses, which is also kinda out of reach for me and I have been strongly advised not to buy.
From what I've read anyway, FF actually hinder's performance and if you want accuracy, non-feedback ones are better. Still, even if it isn't the case, I can't find a good FF Wheel that I can buy, so my only options so far are either the Nascar Racing Wheel with Vibration Feedback, or the Wingman Formula GP (Without any kind of Feedback).

Fair enough ;D Buy the MOMO, its worth the price, and even with an issue with the pedals after some months you can solve it easily and keep racing happy BTW where you found the MOMOs?! I've been looking to buy it since hockenheim

Finding it ain't easy. Very few online shops have it, and most are running on the 500 Reais mark. I have a friend that imports stuff, and I'm trying to see if he can bring one for me from the US. Should be a lot cheaper and 'buyable' for me that way.
