Ok, nevermind. I'll get these points back through the season. But, I have the fastest lap, don't I? 'Cause it's humanly impossible, even for Vincenzi, to beat a 1m20s0xx with a 10 lap fuel load.

The San Marino Press Conference! WSRC - Glanville, your consistency paid off and you came in seconds, just under eight seconds ahead of King. Describe your battle with King, throughout the race? I struggled with the car through much of the race particularly in the early stages and this resulted in my spin, King was pushing me hard and my have forced this error as i was trying to brake later into the first corner. WSRC - Glanville, When King past you on laps five, did that rattle you at all and tell us what happened? After the spin, i thought i wouldnt be able to catch up or indeed regain my concentration but coupled with my teammates retirement and the car feeling that bit better (dont know why!) i was able to push harder and was able to use the superior power of our car to overtake King before the first corner, after trying to find a gap all through the previous lap. WSRC - Glanville - Your second podium finish of the year! Where do you see yourself in terms of the championship? As our president has already said my consistency in the championship is really paying off. Lonnie is now 7 points behind me, but all i need is an incident like my teammates to even that score. I would like to challenge Vincenzi who is really looking fantastic in race trim. I aim to support Henrique as much as i can and certainly want us to win the constructors championship

All I can say is a results like this lights a fire under my arse! I finally got a podium finish! The fact that I was so close to You , Brian, makes me feel good about how I set up my car. All throughout practice my car was so d**n twitchy I was dreading the race. So a last minute setup change to make the car a bit more stable worked out for me. Yeah, it made me slightly slower then I wanted to be but it got the job done! But had you not spun I would have been a bit farther back. Imola was racing the way I like to see it! Close competition! Yeah, Vincenzi, ran away with it, but the rest of us had a fight on our hands!

Well I'm kind of ashamed that he won by such f*cking lead with a way less powerful engine.

Well a lot of it has to do with his driving! Basford is the same way. he's got a less powerful car but able to do more with it. Just think back to when Senna was racing. He could take an inferior car and win with it. It's the same thing here. Power isn't everything. I only wish I could drive the way that both you and Vincenzi drive. You guys are insane!

Yeah, of course. We don't use everything-matic cars. I don't do that either! I just can't seem to find the right breaking points! I do use a keyboard since I very rarely get the chance to even play the game while I'm home. So when I'm at work I'm forced to use a keybaord setup. Maybe that's part of my problem.

Well but now we are getting close to the tracks I love, such as Barcelona and Monaco, and Montreal too (want to see you right there Brian! ). I can't lose! This is an area where I need to improve or I'm going to have trouble.

Yeah, your looking very good Lonnie. It seems to me that race after race your getting closer and more competitively quick. You were right to set the car up to be less twitchy for the race. I've found with some of my setups that having that twitch of oversteer before i turn into a corner really freaks my head out. Its better to have a more neutral balance and then you can throw the car into the corners with much more confidence.
The season is really hotting up and everyone is raising their game
Yeah, Ricky Barcelona and Montreal are both circuits i have a lot of potential on. Just gona do a few practice laps, and see what i can manage.

You are talking about Barcelona! d**n and that's not your best! Good god! I've got my work cut out for me them. My personal best is 1:19.702. Even Iain is faster then I am at Barcelona!

Especially at tracks with tight corners. The Keyboard just doesn't give enough control and in tight corners it slows me down a bit. My times at Barcelona, Montreal and Monaco are bit off from everyone elses pace. I really need to find more speed at those tracks.

Was just looking at the official results there. Loved your race lap Iain. That was a huge improvement on your qualifying. Where i dropped 1.3 seconds from qualifying to race, you gained 8tenths. Fantastic, you must be chuffed with that. My best lap was only a few tenths quicker.
