So why didn't you do your qualifying lap again? There's no where in the rules that says you have to do one before the other

Well I'm now down to a 25.2 I can actually go a little bit faster in the first and middle sectors but it's that last bloody hairpin and the chicane before it that keep screwin me over

Nah, nothing to do here @ work, and I was reading the forum posts and wondering... How long the tyres in GP4 can last? I mean, until what moment they are good enough to keep your best performance through the race?

Damn, tough...last 100% I remember doing, was a 2006 Suzuka race with Kimi. Started from the back and made my way through for a win Anyway my best lap was 1:31.385 on the very last lap. Tyres were being used for the past 12 laps. My longest stint was 19 laps, and on the last lap of that stint I did a 1:31.517. Hard drys all the time. Of course, how bad wear becomes depends on your setup. I tend to setup the car pretty easy on the tyres for 100% races otherwise chances of driving well become dim. For our races, I tend to goa bit harsher though and still get to use soft drys But then, the longest stint we'll get to do is 6 or 7 laps...

yeah, i absolutely murder the tyres here because they only need to last for a handful of laps. if im running a 100% race where a stint may last up to 30 laps, i'll go much easier on the setup.

I murder the tires anyway, I've got a knack for being really hard on the tires but still getting pretty good times out of them even when there's nothing left
