looks like i would have done well without my 12 second penalty, pleased as well to have run competatively on the harder compound. perhaps this is the resurgence in my charge for points and podiums

Yeah I really thought I was in with a chance, especially since the two guys were having their own private battle I managed to pull out a small lead, shame it didn't last but I'm sure that first win can't be too far away.
Just before the first round of pitstops both of the cars started to suffer with graining problems, I actually planned to pit a lap later than I did but I was simply losing too much time. The 'moment' I had wasn't actually anything to do with the tyres, I simply misjudged my braking point and ran wide onto the grass, probably didn't help the tyres much.
From where I was it looked like a pure racing incident, Bruno got into Diogo's blind spot and unfortunatley the two colided. Hopefully neither of them will be penalised further. Other than the initial impact I wasn't really paying much attention to them and just concentrated on making the best of the situation.
I think it was pretty obvious that Bruno had a much faster car than us and should have been challenging for the lead but that incident must've damaged his car and he held us up through the tight and twisty sections of the track, initially allowing Matt to catch up. It was a shame about Matt's mistake upon entering the pits otherwise he would have been right with us. Adam did an amazing job given the limited amount of time he had after an electronical glitch during the race, but yeah overall it was a damn good battle and one I hope we can continue in Silverstone, with a bit of luck it can be for the win next time.
With a bit of luck now Adam will signup for the coming races this season and Vodafone-Audi will be able to overhaul KDR in the Constructors championship.
See you all at Silverstone!

Bruno, second place once again, surely that first win is just a matter of time? Well I have to admit that I was expecting a win here when I did that lap in qualifying, but when I struggled with my race pace again, due to the lack of some specific preparation for the race, I had to try my best and fight for a podium finish. But we are almost prepared to win a race here, we need to keep working hard, we can't give up now and theres still some races left. All I can do for now is to keep working and hopefully the first win can be found at France. Talk us through the incident with Diogo at the start of the race and did the contact affect the handling of the car at any stage? When Vincenzi let a little space, by instinct I just dived there to beat him and both collided because no one was going to brake hard and leave the other go, oh well, It just happened, I guess. I don't think that he did it on purpose, because the championship is still open and theres plenty of races left. As for the car handling, it was perfect throughout the race, I was just struggling with my race pace, because I wasnt braking at the right point in the right time. And again, the battles with Dave, Adam and Matt at various stages through-out the race could've gone either way, tell us about them from your point of view. Well, they were competitive today, and they are improving like I am throughout the season, but I think that it just happened because I couldnt find my very best race pace today. Anyway, It was fun to battle with them, congrats to Dave who got his first podium spot, I'm having fun racing here and we entertained the fans, so everyone is happy today. As the team manager of Raltwest, what did you make of the decision by Schroeder to pull his team out of the race citing tyre problems as the reason? You both run Michelins, was there any problem for your cars? Errr... (surprised face) I'm wearing "bridgies", not michelins... I dont know about my teammate but my tyres were working perfectly today. To comment their decision I have to have some information about their tyre problems, but if I had similar problems, I wouldn't have retired my car from the race. When we are racing, theres a lot of risks we have to take, and we have it in our mind, so thats the price you have to pay if you want to race. Considering that I still have to close the gap to Vincenzi, I'd have taken the risk and joined the race.

ok, first 30 seconds of the video have been filmed...working on the rest of it. It's been pretty hard actually, trying to ensure the grid looks right, and that it all looks ok and bears a small resemblence to the race report, and trying to keep the output size down... ;D I'll work on the Vincenzi, Green battle, my pitlane mishap and the rest of the events tomorrow. I'm NOT looking foward to trying to capture the finish between Castello and Carr-Smith
