Agreed
I plan on restarting my 2005 season, and I'll do my own liveries for each season. Rather than using different shapes, I'll use the same shapes for all seasons. ^_^

Bruno: I didn't say you should download the megapatches and full season packages from Enzojz. I said for you to download individual cars, helmets and stuff, and compile you own carset...no offence for the makers of those carsets, but they are very confusing to work with.

No mod I've downloaded has ever been perfectly race ready. I've had to put lots of work into making them playable, which makes me wonder why Tony et al are placing so much emphasis on getting it absolutely right. It will never be perfect for everyone.
Its best to download individual cars and build your own carset, then if anything does go wrong you know exactly how to fix it. I've spent ages on this 2006 mod from Tony trying to understand how it works and how to cure small little issues...

I've spent ages on this 2006 mod from Tony trying to understand how it works and how to cure small little issues... Well, the 2006 mod beta by tony's crew was the easiest one I have used so far... I changed easily the ferraris, bmws and midlands to updated standard versions... to get track specific cars to work is something... well... a headache for me. Thats why I prefer to use standard cars for the whole season. ON TOPIC AGAIN: How you guys are going in your brazilian gp laps?

TBH, I don't like any of the full ready mods made...all seasons that I played so far were self-made, except the 1999 one, which was ok.
Anyway, I still don't know if I'll race at Interlagos...not happy with my setup...

I decided not to play older seasons and start with the 2006 Mod... I'm going to get Rubens honda seat since he's one of the drivers I hate (the other is Michael) ;D the mod and the tracks set is already done, the mod is ready to start unfortunately diogo, the 2006 TSM set I did allow only 17 track so to have the new tracks and Brazil I had to remove suzuka Nothing against it, but I wanted to drive the new tracks I just need to add my helmet and my name to the perf files

Just a heads up Senna, if you plan on racing 100% race distances with the 2006 mod, you'll probably encounter a problem where most of the AI cars run out of fuel on the final lap. I havent been able to find a cure as yet and have had to use 'GP4 Pit and Lap editor' to reduce the race distances by one lap.
Unfortunately this upsets CSM as it needs the unmodified gp4.exe. I got around that particular hurdle by redirecting GP4 Pit and lap editor to a gp4.exe which i placed in the 2006 carset folders, and pleasing CSM by leaving the unmodified gp4.exe in the GP4 directory. Just add a line in the swap.ini file of the 2006 mod, thus:
File 1 = Tweaker\gp4.exe, gp4.exe (where the folder 'Tweaker' is the location of the .exe).
Its not an ideal solution, but I see no alternative at the moment.

Or, you can put the gp4 pit and lap editor save file inside the patch folder of CSM carsets...CSM recognizes it and patches the exe accordingly

Hmm... if they run out of fuel on the final lap... its something to do with fuel consumption, so I guess that its something that can be solved editing the related info inside the physics file... or not?

Not so simple...it'll require some experimenting to be done, to make it work.

Yeah, it's a Logitec. Not a MOMO though. I have seen the Formula Force cheap, so I think I'll buy it. I have some stupid cursed, f*cked up wheel atm
