Whats Falcon 4.0 actually like. I used to love good fighting flight simulators like tfx and ef2000, but i find most of the new ones must be used with flight simulator. Is falcon 4.0 good?

Are you kidding! Falcon 4.0 redefined the flight simulator!!! It's still concidered the best combat flight sim, even though it is fairly old. It's the GP4 of Flight Simulators! There is news of Falcon 5.0 being produced by an independant programing team! I'm very excited about this!!! I've got a compete HOTUS setup that I purchased from www.CHProducts.com My setup is the Combatstick 568 USB and the USB Pro Throttle! Also, Falcon, 4.0 is abandonware! So you can find it on many abandonware rings! Although I purchased my copy many years ago and still have all the manuals and the box!

I'm still trying to find my SportsCar GT CD. I've got the box and the manual but the CD is missing! I loved that game!

I managed to get my retirement twice in the career mode (one time for each side).

One of ths things I'm putting a lot of focus on this computer is a set of season packs for GP2. The list includes the following seasons. Each season uses a carshape unique to that season. I've got car shapes and season packs, for Gp2, going as far back as the 1050's. So I can do pretty much every season if I wanted to.
1986 1988 1991 1993 1994 1999 2004 2005
I'm also doing a Cart and IRL season set.
I've looked at other carshapes and noticed that they made sportscar shapes for this game but they don't look very good in the game as they constantly redraw from the original carshape to the new one. It looks very unusual, even when I set the view distance to maximum with a special utility for just this type of thing.
I can't run Grand PRix 3 as it requires a 266mhz PC but I just found out that my copy of EA's F1 2000 Chapmionship Season will run with minimum settings. I might try that out to see how it performs but I was never a huge fan of that game, so who knows.

I've decided to move the hard drive, from the 233mhz Baby AT Tower, to a newer tower that I purchased! here are the specs. Much beefier!
Tower is ATX Form Factor Celeron 850 Mhz CPU 512MB RAM Dual Boot - Windows 98 SE and Linspire 4.5 Voodoo3 3000 16MB AGP Video Card Netgear FA310tx PCI ethernet card 56K modem Sound Blaster AWE 32 PCI 2 Built in USB Ports 8GB Maxtor hard drive +20GB Maxtor Hard Drive
I also have an ATI Rage 128 Pro 16MB AGP video card but I'm not sure which one I like better. This one or the Voodoo3.
my new main focus is going to be running multiple GP4 mods. Yeah I know it's not the best for GP4 but it should run. GP4 only requires a PII 400MHz CPU with 64MB RAM and a 16MB Video card. I'll probably just have to run in 640x480 res. I may try to look for a 32MB or 64 MB Video card for this tower to improve video. Anyway, I'm going to install the '86, '88 and '94 mods as well as the GT Mod.
I'm also going to work on installing some mods for Sports Car GT.

I've tried the '86 and '88 mods. Want a challenge? Try to win at Monza on ace level with Senna on his Lotus, starting on pole position.

Well, I started working on my GP4 installs. I can install up to the 2003 update. when I install Alex's 2004 Update, it slows this machine down too much because of all the 3D and high rest models. I think it's partly do to the old 16MB video card. Althoug I haven't installed the latest drivers yet. Still runnign with the original drivers that came with the card. So there are many what if's. So I won't be able to run that on this computer until I look a little deeper into the issue. I'll could always build my own 2004 setup. I think I did that once but I'll have to dig through my files. Anyway, I'm also working on a bunch of GP3 updates as well. So far I've completed the following for GP3. 1989, which a bunch of you might remember from SRW 1991 1993 1994 2004 Which again, I had posted about on SRW a while back. I've got some files for 2005 but I haven't started that yet. GP3 is so much easier to work with when it comes to updates. Not to mention, I give thanks to the many sites I found files on. The best one has to be the following though. www.grand-prix.4players.de:1089
