I was wondering how many of you use a wheel and how many who use the keyboard? I'm a keyboard player myself and I just wanna know what I'm up against, since I suspect a steering wheel is an advantage.

I used a keyboard this year but next year i hope to use my steering wheel. To be honest, Viper, mentioned, that the physics we are using were designed with keyboards in mind. That's if I have my information correct!

i used a wheel for a large part of the year, but reverted back to a keyboard for melbourne...mainly out of laziness. i like being able to manually shift the gears with a wheel, its just more fun, even if it isnt quite as quick. i think a keyboard is quicker tbh...

Well I did just under 1.23 at Monza in my 2000 season with keys, albeit in a 805 BHP car, and I believe that with some practice a wheel would shave some time off that.

Sure would, I did that with 880bhp, I shiver to think how fast I could have gone if I had honed my setup a little more and had 900bhp...

Keyboard here. Don't have a wheel nor can afford a good one right now. And yes, the physics we use have keyboards in mind.

Kinda biased isn't it? That's probably why I have terrible problems under braking no matter where I put the brake balance...

Just because its setup for keyboards doesn't mean that it's not drivable with a steering wheel. Some good times were posted, this season, with sterring wheels.

yeah I know, I just got a 1:14:9 at Barcelona with those physics, but that doesn't stop the fact that they can be a little twitchy...

lol I hate most of the other tracks, mostly Monaco but Barcelona is one of my favourites because it's got a great mix of corners...

I can barely finish more than 5 laps at any circuit so I won't be very challenging next year me thinks lol
