First thread in this section ... As you may remember I asked for a good Wet setup for Montreal on the SRW forum but noone (except GS who didn't deliver unfortunatley) managed to send me one. In my own GP4 season it was dry all weekend, qualified second then the wet stuff has come along. No matter how much I have tried I can't find a setup that can help me navigate a lap at a good time. Soo...hopefully one of you guys could help me out and send me a decent one, just to let me at least try and finish the race? Thanks.

I have one. Don't know whether you'll manage to drive it (tons of oversteer), but it's better than nothing.
I'll email it.

I look forward to receving it from you - I tend to prefer understeer to oversteer, but I migh tas well try it as I am totally stuck as it is now. I will report back the next time I get a chance to try it out (could be a while !).

Well, what I've learned from setting up my A1 wet setup, when I thought it was going to rain, is to start off with your dry setup and raise your ride height a little, soften the springs a little, and add a bit more wing to both front and back.
Ultimately, you need a softer susspension in the wet with more downforce to hold the corners in slippery conditions.
But, adjusting any of these too much will slow you down.

There's a bit more to it then that I think. Once I'm finished with this race and I get some free time I have to dwelve into that subject to see what I come up with. I know I've been getting a much better dry setup lately though...experimenting rulez

I tried doing that but it really still didn't work for me I even looked through all of them help files that I sent to you and still to no avail...still waiting for Ricky to post...

The stuff Saturdaynight mentioned will work only for a few setups...in others the changes need to be more drastic....specially if you cars tends to oversteer a lot even on DRY...

I have checked it and it was there, thanks very much. Can I ask why there are two setups?

I have no idea. ;D A possible reason is that, when I'm creating a setup, I save the first (and better) one. Then, I keep working on it until it becomes better than the previous one. Maybe I just saved with another name, who knows.....

Good. Let me know what times you get. (there's quite a time I don't test the setups.... )

The setup was much better than anything I can ever muster, can't remember what times I was getting, but I was managing to stay on track at a decent-ish pace. In the race I spun off into the wall on Lap2 ...lots of accidents happened in the next couple of laps that I watched too. Strangely enough Alonso won, on the same day he won today!!
