tested the carset using both V-Audis and it works fine, might be because I have previous knowledge of CSM BETA but I didn't have to adjust ANYTHING

Well, apart from the crashes, everything else seems to be running just fine. TBH, don't know why you game is crashing...must be something related to your gp4.exe. I suggest you revert back to an original one like CSM is asking to. And don't force CSM to not check for the original files. It may cause it to not work correctly. okay, i'll give a try later with other gp4.exe...

Viper, now everything works fine, but I had a crash when i tried to use Canada Carset + Europe Helmetset... but it worked like a charm with USA GP Set + Europe Helmetset... no problems here then, I can look forward to the race Just one question... In the CSM mod's configurables table, the Trackset option is defaulted to "Mod Defined"... should I set it to "None" ? I was worried about it so I left it unchanged...

Set to None once and they leave it unchanged. As for the other problem, well I did not have time to test all combinations before posting. I'll take a look later and see if it's something related to the carset.

Good And just a hint, the default and mid-season sets is giving me the old RaltWest (sauber shape) Then I noticed why it is happening - its in both config ini files for these specific sets. I think you just need to change the directory names inside these files to the new car Cheers Viper, keep the good work!

The default is suposed to be using the cars used in Melbourne. Not the most current. Mid-Season testing, is suposed to be any test cars you may wish to use...I made one, but the rest didn't so I just left whatever

Well after just about pulling all my hair out i finally got the old csm to work again I still cannot overcome the lagging probs in the new csm however. So until i can fix this problem, i will be running the old csm. I have no idea what the problem is, i thought it might have been the graphics too high but the PO was at the same value, so im assuming that that is not the problem. So yeah, no ideas from me, so if anyone else has suggestion i would like to hear them please.

Maybe later on I'll use, but don't worry for now. As for the lagging problems, have no idea. Maybe posting on that forum, Zaz can get back on you about the problem.

Yeah, right now every team can submit the following: Pre-Season Test Car Mid-Season Test Car Default Car (Can be used on any race) Track Specific Car Of course, if each team has one car for each track, it can make the carset get quite big, but having 3 or 4 cars should be ok. For example, in addition to the Test cars, Audi has: European Special Paint (Drivers names featured on the sidepods) German Low Downforce car with Special Paint (Same as Europe, but low downforce) Italian GP Low Downforce Car Maybe I'll do something for Suzuka later on...still thinking...

Hmm I have a Brazil World Cup Livery, maybe I'll add it to the carset later... It depends of how Brazil performs in World Cup As for the Low Downforce car, I dont know if theres any low downforce BAR Honda (Monza/Germany) specs available for download... so I'll stick to the same car... Another Idea is a special Ayrton Senna livery for Brazilian GP... Diogo, did you saw the Senna's helmets exposed @ Barra Shopping? class stuff, I am planning to see them again and take some photos next saturday or friday

how come everyone has special cars? do the low downforce ones make a difference? Related to ingame performance? Nah, theres no difference, I guess. Remember that I was using a Sauber shape (See default spec from mod) and now I'm using a BAR shape (since Monaco spec) and theres no difference between them in terms of ingame performance, I think that these shapes are only for estetic/fun purposes
