Here is the official 2005 British GP thread. At the moment it looks like it could be a sunny weekend for the race, in a week and a half, but we'll no more come the weekend. I'm not going to be home this weekend do to it being Independence Day weekend so I'll call the weather on Friday. Good luck everyone! We are halfway through the championship!

My Home Grand Prix I live about 400-500 miles away from London and it has been so nice here for the past 2weeks, only rained on 1 day and it has been nice in London area too (as well as the all important Home County region where Silverstone is). Can't wait for this one if it stays dry

Back when the season started I actually had a few very good wet setups, but i'm not sure where they went. I was driving pretty well with them in the rain, but I have since forgotten how to make that kind of setup...so until I learn again, I'm hoping for dry

i finally have the time to properly prepare for this one.
like viper, i did some prelim runs today, managed a 1:19.442 on my 5th lap using manual gears. the setup is improving slowly. theres a bit more to come, which is good news because i ran over the kerb at stowe and probably lost a bit of time there. the gear ratio's arent perfect yet either. im using 6 gears at the moment, but may switch to 7.
