Next up, the Nurburgring and it looks like it's going to be rainy in Cologne, Germany. So slap on your wets and good luck!

Oh Sorry! I read some article on the creation of the Nurburgring and how the mayor of Cologne supported the idea of creating the track. I miss read that. www.grandprix.com/gpe/cir-056.htmlI was looking at the weather today, and both Cologne and Eifel have very similar weather for the 24th. Rain. Eifel with a 54% chance and Cologne with a 58% chance.

I really wish there was a way to control the exact weather in GP4. We wouldn't have theses issue! How close is Eifel to Cologne? I can only fin Cologne on mapquest.

Well, I was doing some exploring in Google Earth just now, and the Circuit is about 70Km (42mi) away from Cologne. Far enough to ensure a change of weather. To tell you the truth, it's far from Eifel too, and worst of all, eifel is actually a region of Germany as it seems and not a city. The closest city I can find it Neuwied, but that's still 38Km (23mi) away from the circuit. The forecast is also for rain on the 24th. Now, I know we have a set of rules for this but two things bug me: 1) We had set that we'd pick the weather 1 week prior to the race day. For a good time now the race day has been sunday. 2) I know everyone is busy and such, but from now on we should take a couple of days before the race week to discuss from where we will get the weather from, cause then we get into this little confusions. It's nothing serious of course, but it creates certain doubts about the race and such. So, I'd propose to get the weather from the closest city in this case, and we should get the weather from the 25th, since that would be the actual race day. here's an image from the cities I found: And if anyone has Google Earth: realover.scifi-meshes.com/gp4/Nurburing.kmzThe Nurburing on Google Maps: maps.google.com/maps?q=neuwied&ll=50.332423,6.930141&spn=0.076512,0.162100&t=h&hl=en

Sounds good to me! I made a mistake in location! So what should we call for this race!
Dry or wet?

Hmm... if things are to be decided using this system, it'll be a dry race once more...

Looking at the map that Vincenzi, has posted, I used mapquest to verify distances and his case holds true. You can actually see the Nurburgring, on Mapquest, when you soom in and Neuwied is closer then Cologne. So the weather for this race is Dry! Sorry for the issue guys and next time we will make sure that we agree on the closest city we can get to before calling the weather. Again, sorry for the confusion.

I'm sorry for posing the problem too, but I thought we should make the best situation out of it
