Yeah, we'll have to put it to a vote for the final results but .40 sound good to me
I also posted a message on SRW about tracking course data! I'll know more when I get some results from that topic.

I was doing some calcs, and .15 sounds much more realistic to me....

I was doing some calcs, and .15 sounds much more realistic to me.... You think? I know that I can keep my wear fairly low! To put it into perspective, the wear I produced in my Hungary laps, got only as low as .05.

I just did a quick look at everyones wear for the Hungarian GP and it varried a lot. Most people were getting around .20 - .25. One person didn't have any wear on their plank and posted one a fairly good lap in the 1:12:xxx range!
Perhaps .15 is too stricked! Maybe say .25.

Yeah, cause the guidelines for making a car setup is to get very minimal plank wear. For a good view, the car should only touch the ground, lightly, right before breaking. i dunno...somewhere between .20 and .40 sounds good to me...

Perhaps that is the maximum allowed? Everyon please, submit your thoughts on this?

Taking a look back at some of the other races, perhaps .4o isn't that bad. Heck, I've seen where even I've had had plank wear of over .50. Some people were even getting into the .80 range.
.40 is sound better then I had previously though!

Yeah, it's not like it's all that difficult to setup a car with very little plank wear.

The limit should be 0.99 IMO. GP4 automatically punishes you when the plank wear goes beyond that.

.99 is too much, I think we should go with .40. That is my opinion however I'll go with what everyone else says

ive no idea lol....0.99 would only be effective for a 60 lap race, not 10 laps. i think it should be 0.20...
personally, i dont think we should be too strict on it...its not a major crime i think. what sort of penalties would you be looking at applying? disqualification seems a bit harsh...
out of interest, what were my plank readings for hungary?

Your high was .27. Without a limit on plank wear, one could easily use a lower car and so get more downforce. As for penalties? Hmmm...10 second time drop?
