Well, we usually take the actual weather for that day. Ummm, yeah, I forgot to add that. Guess I'm a bit rusty from last year. The rules are explained here. You guys really need to make sure you understand these rules and that is what this test race is all about. we want to make sure everyone understands the race rules before we get into a real race! Weather for the Silverstone test race is rain! Silverstone, UKYes, it says snow, but we aren't counting that!

I'm not talking about todays forcast. It's the forcast for this weekend. Check the link I gave from Weather.com!

The rules specifically state that we use Weather.com to get our forcasts. So according to weather.com it says rain!

It's just a rule we agreed to back in the start of the 2005 season. Not a big deal anyway.

Anyway, when have the weather men ever been right ;D ;D Anyway, for those who are new to the series, when we have rain, we have to set the weather in GP4 to 100%, only because there is no way to select the exact weather patern in GP4. 100% rain creates the most even weather patern across the board. When the weather calls for no rain, we set the weather in GP4 to 0%. I know, this means heavy rain in wet conditions and clear blue sky in non rainy conditions, but until someone comes up with a utility to control the exact weather in GP4, this is the best we can do!

Well if you set rain to 30%, it does rain, but GP4 simply tells you it doesn't. Try it, go into a free practice or a race, and in the first few laps it will start raining, albeit lightly. It's actually quite good, because it is on and off simliar to real weather systems Gotta love dynamic weather

Well, those are the rules that we agreed on for the 2006 season. Everybody had an oportunity to voice their concerns. Unfortunately, to come up with a new idea now would set us way back.

That's fine, I never asked you to change the rules, I was just pointing out a nice effect that GP4 produces Go and do some laps soon, haven't been in the wet at silverstone before -EDIT- Hmm think I'll be easy to beat, I'm only just into the 1:29's
